This is my first blog post in a while as life took over but
I am determined to get back on it! Bear with me as I maybe a bit rusty...Over the past few months I have been
exploring non-glycolic exfoliating options so over the next few weeks I will be posting reviews of some
that I have been trying with huge success! Recently I wrote about Medik8
blemish pads over on my Instagram so go check that out if you’re interested!
Firstly, I want to state that I won this product in a
giveaway, but I will be purchasing once it’s finished for sure! This has been
one of my favourite skincare discoveries of the year so far…
The formula is made up of chemical, physical and enzymatic exfoliating
ingredients which gently work to lift away dullness and dead skin cells. Fruit
enzymes, 6% lactic acid, cellulose peels and sugar extracts combine together to
leave skin looking fresher, smoother and super soft. Although there is an
immediate glow to the skin following use, the longer-term benefits have also been
excellent for me. It has been amazing at reducing congestion and generally
improving the texture of my skin. I haven’t tried many of these kinds of
products, but I would compare it to the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Mask, just
gentler but with similar results…
A little goes a long way so this tube would last a fairly
long time. At £26 it isn’t the cheapest, but cost effective compared to other ‘peels’
on the market. If you are after a brightening, radiant boosting hit then look
no further. Your skin will illuminate from afar with this! Out of all the Pixi product's I’ve tried this without a doubt my favourite, and the blush
pink and green toned packaging is so aesthetically pleasing. It's like it was specially
made for my blog đŸ˜‰
